FROM 'THE MASTER ARTISAN' PK'S CORNER PRESENTS, 'Tips to Keep Hair Shiny...''

Glossy, shiny, luscious locks are definitely a goal worth striving for and can make a world of a difference not only in how you look, but how you feel about yourself. Believe it or not, it's not all about the products (though they are important)- it's the little things that make a big difference when it comes to locks that are silky smooth as opposed to coarse and dull. Read on for some amazing shine-enhancing tips brought to you by PK Professional stylists from the Paul Kenneth Salon & Spa.

Tanya's Tips: - Rinse with cooler water after shampooing to close the hair cuticle.
- Use your cool shot button on your dryer to smooth the cuticle when you're finished drying.

Nina's Tips -When you blow-dry your hair, go from roots to ends. if you don't, it will make your hair frizzy and can damage the cuticle.
- Use an oil-based product to add shine & protection, like (Moroccan, Bassu or Aragon).
- If hair is starting to look dull, visit your PK Professional Colorist and get a clear color glaze

Paul Kenneth.....
-For brunettes, Instead of glazing with a clear, I like to glaze using a shade that is two shades lighter than what is there. Use a very warm shade because warm shades reflect more light than cool shades which absorb light.

- Wash hair less and CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION! It is so important to condition. Use a deep conditioner at least once a week and leave it in over night for the best result.  Any healthy, shiny hair starts with great conditioned hair!
